Anybody that knows me personally knows I'm a bit of a worrier so when Mary and Tom came to see me and told me about their midday church ceremony in the outskirts of London alarm bells started to ring. I've recently tried to cut down the logistically challenging weddings as I find that spending the day driving (or worrying about driving/trafic/parking) is counterproductive to producing the best product I can. However, on this occasion when I heard those three magic words Layer Marney Tower I knew I had to put my worries to the back of my mind as this was going to be special.
I was not wrong.
Well... on both counts, really. It was a logistical nightmare. (New rule - no parking at church = no go!) however, the jaw-dropping surroundings of Layer Marney Tower soon made me forget all of the stress and maybe slightly illegal parking spots of the few hours previously. It is clear to see why Mary and Tom looked and one and only venue for Their big day and booked it there and then.
The speeches were lengthy, but filled with voiceover gold so I really enjoyed editing this, my first wedding of 2016!
